As the Team Lead of Sales Operations in Montreal, you will act as the glue for the Billing and Sales Operations teams. You will be responsible for supporting the team in reviewing new sales, supporting the local North American Sales team to surface essential information, and ensuring that service-level agreements (SLAs) related to billing inquiries are consistently met. You’ll need to thrive on complex problems and love to get your hands dirty while keeping everyone rowing in the same direction. Keeping things moving without a hitch is a big part of what makes the Retail and Restaurant industries vibrant. At Lightspeed, we practice this in our Sales Operations team, where no two days are the same.

What you’ll be responsible for: 

  • Support and coordinate all primary activities within the Montreal Sales Operations team
  • Provide insight and support to members of the Sales department
  • Review, consolidate and reconcile orders, contracts and payments
  • Act as a point of contact for escalations related to billing and subscription inquiries both internally and externally
  • Ensure that sales meet financial and legal requirements based on executed policies and communicate changes 
  • Review reports to monitor and boost team efficiency 
  • Assist in ongoing development, communication, monitoring, and delivery of service level agreement (SLA)-based metrics
  • Consolidate feedback related to system inefficiencies and prioritize accordingly with the appropriate teams
  • Handle other duties and responsibilities as defined by management

What you’ll be bringing to the team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Administration, Social Sciences, or related field
  • 2-4 years experience in an administrative function
  • A minimum of 1 year of informal or formal leadership experience
  • A proven track record of success using performance-based metrics
  • Stellar time management and organization skills
  • Perfect written and spoken English
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple mandates under tight deadlines
  • Obsessive attention to detail
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Comfortable in technical environments

Even better if you have, but not necessary:

  • Experience using Salesforce.com
  • Fluency in French
